This wedding is brought to you by….LAST YEAR!! Yeah, that’s right, I am so bad at blogging that I’m giving you fresh content from last year. Either way, here she is–Emily and Adam’s wedding in San Francisco. Wylie Weddings got to do Day of Coordination, Event Design, Floral Design and Graphic Design. It’s so much fun to be able to work on the whole project, to see the couple and the event as a whole.
Emily and Adam got married at the University Club in SF. It was seriously the best old man club i’ve ever seen. Old men drinking white wine on the patio on a Wednesday morning as they play chess and smoke cigars. Floor to ceiling books, deep wood walls with funky wallpaper that you would never put in your house but you LOVE it when it’s paired with all the other decor (READ: taxidermy, heavy curtains and crazy old knick knacks). Enough of the talk, here’s the pictures:
Emily and Adam were SO down to earth and it was so amazing work with them. They love San Francisco and we got to design table numbers so that every table was a different area of the city…it took a little extra time but it was SO worth it! It’s always the little things that really wow a crowd and make the day so unique and special!
Emily and Adam had a very traditional Jewish ceremony. Everything had so much meaning and depth to it. We got to make a custom Chuppah (which represents the presence of God above you–making reference to when God used to reveal himself in a cloud) There was also a part in the ceremony when Adam circled Emily 7 times (representing the walls falling down between them, alluding to the walls of Jericho).
