Megan & Grady are dear friends who met with me early on in their planning. We sat and brainstormed all the budget friendly ways we could do what they wanted (while still making everyone happy…sound familiar? It’s called wedding planning!). The idea was to do a small ceremony in the morning and then a big party that everyone could be invited to in the evening. Did they pull it off? You better believe it!!
If you ever find yourself in this same predicament, you should follow their example. As a Fireman for the City of San Francisco, they were able to access the mayors balcony at City Hall. A simple ceremony in front of their closest family and friends was exactly what they wanted.
Megan and Grady got to go cruise the city with their photographer, take photos, spend time together and then arrive at their reception on a firetruck.
And then, there’s the amazing dance party. Food truck and donuts, wine and beer, ice cream sandwiches, glow sticks, ripped pants, jean jackets and the best dance party you’ve ever seen.
